We requested back in September for two double beds for our apartment and unfortunately when we arrived from NZ they had not complied with our wishes. We were told they never received the request, I had an email copy from AirNZ to prove to them that this was requested. They said they couldn't guarantee double beds so why hadn't anyone informed us of that. We were also told if you don't like it go stay somewhere else but sorry you wouldn't be getting a full refund. What can you do when everywhere is fully booked over the Xmas period??? For nine nights sleeping on a hard single bed didn't do one's back much good. Four adults also had to share one bathroom. For what we paid ($3825 NZ) and what we got very disappointed. The unit was quite small. Best thing the view. Four times in nine nights the fire alarm went off, with one night it went off after ten pm (a better system needs to be worked out for this one) glad we didn't have small children asleep at this time. Sorry wont be staying here again just felt more of an effort could of been made, I had to follow up when I was told "we will contact you" but after waiting a couple of days for them to contact me I had to chase up why this booking went amiss.
