“Little Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

With memories of the old Rustic Cabin and always the thought that this spot was just a 'truck stop' - it was amazing to see how the renovations have totally transformed this place. When you step inside you are confronted by an elegant foyer. The inner restaurant itself is well laid out and the outer decking area just as lovely. I would not go over the top, however, in comments on the food - although good, it is not spectacular and the service in the restaurant was not of the most professional quality. That aside, we will return to Daisys for the sheer joy of dining in such a lovely place. A point also to remember - It is a confusing place to get to if you go there first time in the evening and cannot see the correct entrance in the dark - there should be better signage.

“The Hidden Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

How can it be - located in an almost unlikely place - this is truly a hidden treasure - the team could not be more helpful nor the food any better. The environment is amazing - we are telling all our friends

“expect the unexpected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2012

At first sight Daisy's looks a bit like a roadside diner. Enter and be amazed. The visitor is met by a bright young suited gentleman who sees you from the foyer to your table. On entering the dining room the first thing you see is huge windows, and through the windows you see densely planted rain forest. The food was good, the portions hearty, the staff were attentive. . . and there are plenty of them, the kitchen efficient and the ambiance good if a little bright. All in all a good value and worthwhile experience.

“At last.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012

We were delightedwith our decision to eat at Daisy's. Sue the owner is bubbly and enthusiastic and the ehthusiasm rubs off on her staff. Beautiful surroundings, staff extremely attentive but at times a little uncoordinated. Food was of very high quality and turned up very quickly. We will be back. AT LAST, there has been nothing like this in this area.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2012

I had been waiting to go here for some time. It is only recently reopened after a long refurbishment. Also, friends had been very positive about it.

However, I was very disappointed. I had steak for my main and it was clearly overdone. Reasonable quality meat but had the goodness cooked out of it.

Pumpkin soup was tasty as was the foccacia.

Surroundings were OK and service was reasonable.

I may return but not for some time.
