Description: There is nothing like a long lunch surrounded by green rolling hills, blue skies and great service. Or a special dinner for two, or four, or twelve, or more, featuring great food, great wine and great conversation. Our award-winning Cupitt's Kitchen offers seasonal food with traditional French and English influences. We use fresh local produce and follow the philosophies of the Slow Food Movement, believing that dining should be a source of pleasure. Rosie Cupitt is the Leader for Slow Food Shoalhaven. The restaurant is located in the heart of Cupitt's Winery, and combines rustic stone walls with contemporary design for a comfortable, sophisticated dining experience. We take food and wine very seriously, so that you can relax, exhale and enjoy.

“Wonderful lunch - best vego meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

Had a magnificent Sunday lunch at Cupitts winery. The vegetarian option was a pumpkin and goats cheese rotolo which was one of the best vego meals I have ever had. It was inventive and delicious and beautifully presented. It is more than just the food that makes spending an afternoon at Cupitts so enjoyable. The family staff are so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere so warm that you just want to curl up after lunch on the deck basking in the sun. It is very easy to spend 3 hours over lunch and a bottle of their lovely chardonnay as it is time well spent - relaxing and enjoying the company. We also love the wine dogs.

“A south coast gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

We decided to stop by here on our way down the south coast after being recommended by a friend. We r always reluctant to take the word of someone else but we were not disappointed. The view was spectacular. The food was delicious & the restaurant certainly lived up to our expectations. It certaintly is a nice spot for a long lazy lunch. If you get the chance, you will be pleasantly surprised

“Jewel in the wilderness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

I have visited the south coast of NSW dozens of times over the past 30 years and the great disappointment has always been the lack of a decent restaurant. Cupitt's corrects that. The setting is ideal: among vinevards overlooking a lake. It is only minutes from the nearest town but it is like another world. The service is friendly without being over the top, the food is excellent (although some main courses would be enough for two or even three) and the estate grown wines very good. The owner has spent a lot of time in rural France -- and it shows with the emphasis on local produce. Our planned quick lunch turned into a long and happy afternoon.

“Great lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013 via mobile

Visited the winery with friends for a mid week lunch. Scenery is stunning, lovely grounds, very relaxing. This restaurant offers lunch as it should be! No rush, take your time, soak up the atmosphere of a great winery. Service was attentive, waitress knew the specials on offer and was able to answer any questions. Everyone's meals were cooked to perfection and with desserts sounding so delicious we could not say No. Mind you, didn't eat for the rest of the day!!! Will certainly be visiting again. Great wine as well.

“Francophiles will love it.....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

I have been visiting Cupitt's since it opened and it just gets better and better. We joined friends to celebrate the Queen's birthday Long Weekend (no, SHE wasn't there) at the Long Table Lunch. The day way perfect in every way, glorious winter sunshine, great food, wine, music and happy people. Rosie and her crew certainly know how to run a slick operation; go there, sit back, take in the expansive views, enjoy good food and be amazed. Call in and sample the wine over a cheese plate if you haven't time to dine, you'll be glad you did.

Thank you for your ongoing support throughout the years and for writing this review. We strive to keep getting better and better and it means a lot to have people recognise this. We were so thrilled with another sunny Winter Wine festival, there was such a great vibe out here I am glad you enjoyed it. We look forward to having you back soon. Throughout winter we are cooking Sunday roast in the Wood fired oven and have mulled wine all weekend. Stomach warming!
