Good for the money.. stayed due to closeness to hospital, room small and bathroom very small but clean and tidy, stayed again for another couple nites, great for hospital visits. Was fully booked or would of stayed again, not many car park spaces

Stayed September 2013, traveled with family

Pros:
Service was friendly and helpful, and allowed early check in
Location ideal for UNSW, hospital, public transport, cafe strip etc
Very modern, clean room with TV, kettle, mini fridge, and hair dryer
Very comfortable bed

Cons:
'Queen room' was 2 single beds pushed together, and very small
Bathroom door extremely heavy
Cleaning service only every 2nd day - my experience was not at all for 5 night stay!
Communal guest kitchen and laundry is tiny and hard for more than one person to access at a time.

Overall:
Had a very comfortable stay, was worth the money paid due to location and will absolutely stay there again next time.

Very poor value for money.
Service was below par no offer of advice or help. No return call when I left a message on answering machine. No privacy from balcony as stated in ad.
Room very small and probably the smallest I had stayed in ever. Even if it may seem convenient stay somewhere else

If you need to be within the UNSW vicinity, The Blenheim is ideal.

The facilities are all new and pristine. The rooms are well equipped & complete; bed was nice and comfortable, mounted flat screen TV, mini fridge, glasses, hairdryer, in room coffee & tea making facility. The room came with a decent balcony(small table & 2 chairs). WIFI was available at no extra charge. There was camera surveillance on the ground floor. Rooms were clean and are cleaned every two days. That was okay.

Bathroom door was a tad too heavy (self closing mechanism), especially for elderly guest and kids.

The hotel is conveniently located on the bus route to the airport. We attempted the bus to the airport (Take Bus 400 *Burwood @ A$4.60 OW) but it took 46 minutes; so you need to allow for this.

Avoid paying by credit or charge card as there is a surcharge.

Cheers!

My son was attending a 3 day workshop at UNSW, so the location for the daily visit to the uni was perfect. The hotel is within a short walking distance of many restaurants and 2 supermarkets, so accessibility to lots of facilities is great. The wi-fi was free with the room, but did not work for us.
The room was clean and functional, but a shared bed was only available, and sleeping with a child does not always lead to a good nights sleep. The parking is the one downside - hard to find (locally) and not available within the hotel lot until our lasts night stay.
Staff were helpful, but the room was not serviced during the three nights that we stayed, even though we were told it would have a full service every second day.
Not the most fantastic place we ave ever stayed, but it is perfect for what we needed at that time.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the Blenheim St side - less traffic noise.

We were in Sydney for a graduation at the UNSW so it was an excellent location. The room was a lot bigger than many I have slept in all over the world. The room was clean, bed comfortable, the bathroom had good facilities. There was tea and coffee making facilities. Downstairs there was a kitchen and laundry with ironing facilities. If you want to get into Sydney it is quite easy by bus. The Wi-Fi worked quickly and was easily obtained. Parking is a bit hard as there is very limited parking on-site and street parking is difficult due to the hospital opposite. At night street parking can be hard to get as well as there are a lot of flats in the area. It is close to supermarkets and cafes. It is not 5 stars, but it better priced than some of those in inner Sydney. Randwick is also easy to get to the airport and for access on to the Expressway. The staff was helpful and made some good suggestions. The reception has limited opening hours.

We found the accommodation to be perfect for our needs. It was small but clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept deeply. We didn't notice noise from the street. The bathroom was very small but clean. The shower floods easily which meant wet feet on the carpet. Another set of towels would have been nice. We didn't use the tv, wifi or shared facilities. I give the room an average rating based on its size. We chose Blenheim for its location, close to NIDA to see a couple of shows, Coogee Beach for coffee, bus 400 to the airport, buses to the city and Bondi Junction were right out the front. Our stay was enjoyable and stress free.
