Second trip to this hotel and still just a good! Well Cleaned rooms great staff and a warm friendly feel for a corporate environment. Having a room overlook the national park kept the homely feel alive!

No problems and will return again!

Quest North Ryde had just another business hotel type lobby. Security is quite good as you need to swipe a card to access your floor. Parking is secured at night so it kind of give you peace of mind about safety.

The room is a bit small comparing with property nearby but it provides more amenties (kitchette). The bathroom looks ok but hasn't got a bath tub. Not too important nowadays given that Australia has drought problem. It is comparatively further away from Macquarie shopping centre but it's less than 10 mins drive. Another short coming is the lack of pleasant view and executive writing desk, which is available at 2 other properties around the area.

Overall, both the parking and the room looks good enough. This is a big improvement from my previous stay. Last year I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. The first nigh I left some take away in the fride and some chocolates on the desk for my second night's consumption. I went out in the morning and all my food are gone when I returned in late afternoon. And the fridge is switched off. This is an indication that there isn't any communication between management and the cleaning staff!!!!! I complained to the front desk staff and dropped down my details but haven't heard anything since then. The young male staff with balck hair was helpful and sympathic. The management could have done the same - be helpful and sympathic. I was not going to ask for $30 compensation for the food I've lost. But the attitude of the management is really annoying.

My recommendation - one night stay is OK as long as their cleaning staff doesn't come in and throw away your stuff.

In recent weeks I have been working long hours and so decided to treat myself to a weekend to Sydney to meet some friends and do some shopping.

I arrived at Quest North Ryde amazed by how new and clean the hotel (both lobby and room) appeared, but it was not to be.

In the bathroom, inside a sanitary bag, which was inside the box (packaging), sitting on the bench in what appears to be their typical arrangement (two sanitary bag boxes on the bottom with another box of some sort lying horizontally on top) was a USED CONDOM.

I raised a complaint to hotel staff and, having made some physical contact with the content of the bag on an open wound on my hand, asked that the content be taken to a pathologist to determine whether I should have anything to worry about. Needless to say that night, despite having been moved to another room, I did not sleep well.

When I spoke to the manager the next day, he only informed me that he was still investigating the issue and could not comment until he had understood the situation from his staff. This manager also emphasised that at that moment, he regarded the incident as mere allegations, alleged by myself. (I should also mention that the two staff that I had dealt with face-to-face were polite and apologetic - something that the manager apparently couldn't manage) The next night when I called back to check on the progress of sending the contents to pathology, the member of staff (no doubt under the direction of the manager) told me only that the matter was being handled and that the manager would call me back in the morning. Obviously, my request has fallen on deaf ears.

...and if you thought changing rooms would have solved the problem...there were urine stains on the exterior of the toilet bowl in the second room.

Good Place for Business Travellers, Very Convenient , Peaceful place. near to Great shopping place CHATSWOOD. Good Wine and Dinning experience.
