“Leuralla 'Overpriced, little value'”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

$14 per adult is priced too high. No interactive displays or toys for children. Grumpy Lady at front counter, looks like she wanted to be elsewhere. Plus, you have to pay an extra $2 to access across the road! A short walk down the bush trail will get you a much better view for free! Tarpian rock lookout is great and has nothng to do with the run down museum. Better value to go to the State Mine Museum at Lithgow for $5 per adult and get a guided tour. Much more interesting for kids, real trains, 3d interactive hologram display.

“Bring Out the Child In You”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Leuralla has everything going for it - a magnificent, heritage building from 1912 that is still in its original condition, including g the furnishings. Beautiful gardens to explore and admire, fantastic views of the mountains and a superb toy and train collection. You could spend hours here enjoying the amazing collection of toys, or to play with the trains in the garden railway, of just to sit and enjoy the peaceful gardens. Leuralla is a truly unique attraction which has great historical importance as well as being a simply fantastic place to get lost in your childhood for a few hours.

“Wonderful collection, grand home and beautiful grounds.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

My children and I enjoyed seeing the collection of toys in this grand home, and the train displays outside. We were lucky to be there at a quiet time and the man at the door, Anthony, was lovely. He took us around and explained many interesting things about the property and the collection. I saw the toys as an unbiased representation of history, and was able to see items I'd probably not see anywhere else. I can understand that it may seem expensive but I felt we definitely received value for money.

“Stunning Gardens, must go back for Spring.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Absolutely beautifully kept garden, well worth a visit. Will be returning for spring, although even
now it was amazing. This is a real garden.
The toy collection is also probably the best in the world.
Would totally recommend a visit if going to the Blue Mountains.

“Weird”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

This would have to be the weirdest museum I have ever been to. Inside has so many toys that have been collected over a long period of time. The house itself would have once been grand and beautiful, but unfortunately now, it is dusty and dark. The grounds however are beautiful kept.
