“Forget the staff - go for the food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

I agree with other reviewers - staff a bit distracted, don't make eye contact. Was there 28 December 2012 and the place was packed solid. It's on the tourist bus route for the Blue Mountains, so the town of Leura is over-run at lunchtime.Having said that - had the BEST goat's cheese tart with caramelised onion I've ever tasted. Seriously tempted to have a second round. Coffee was good.

“Nice French Toast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Food was nice and the french toast was delicious, but not one member of staff greeted us or made eye contact other than to write down our order.

“Great Food and Coffee, Staff a bit distracted”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Really enjoyed the coffee, top class. The menu was interesting and covered all tastes which was nice to see instead of the boring focaccias and burgers. Food was tasty, hot and fresh. Staff seemed to have a love-hate relationship with tourists and one staff member commented that they usually have locals there and not so many ring-ins. Service was good considering the place was full. Will return next time we are in Leura.

“Great milkshakes and toasted sandwiches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Dropped in for lunch last weekend and really appreciated the food and service. There are plenty of tables, both inside and out. The staff are friendly, attentive and polite. We had milkshakes (Caramel and strawberry) and toasted sandwiches which were full of flavour. There were plenty of magazines to read, and our food was brought promptly. If I had any complaints it would be that there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the manager was slow to provide us with our bill when we left though he was trying to run the restaurant and the waiting staff at the time. Worth going to though and I can definitely recommend the milkshakes.

“Quaint but bustling with life!”

Stopped here for lunch while on a day tour up in the Blue Mountains. Excellent food and brilliant service. Friends enjoyed their drinks very much too!
