“Fantastic Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

We (3 couples) spent 4 nights here and loved every minute. Jacky & Claudio were the perfect hosts, phoning us while we were on the train from Sydney to arrange a pick up from the station as it was pouring rain. We arrived to the yummy smells of freshly baked choc chip muffins. It just got better. The rooms were beautiful with fabulous ensuite bathrooms with a spa and Moulton Brown products. The beds were so comfortable we slept in the first morning and almost missed Jacky's brilliant breakfast. Every morning was a treat with homemade bircher muesli, fresh fruit salad and yogurt. Each day varied as Jacky & Claudio treated us to croissants, fruit toast or toast with ricotta, figs and drizzled honey as well as baked eggs with spinach or scrambled eggs with home made pesto, goats cheese and bacon or a good old fry up of eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausage and tomatoes with lots of sourdough toast.

There was complimentary port, sherry and champagne and the Lindt chocolates on your bed each day were divine. Each afternoon there was a cake or biscuit to have with a cuppa.

Ideally located just near the mall, it's an easy walk to the great shops and restaurants.

Nothing was forgotten! I had stayed there in October 2011 with the previous owners and thought they were good - but Jacky & Claudio win hands down. Go and see for yourself. You'll love it:)

Room Tip: If you want the king bed, choose the Shakespeare room. Or for something more romantic, choose one of...

We spent the weekend at this beautiful bed and breakfast and have nothing but praise for the owners, Jacqui and Claudio. The finishing touches and the food, service and quality were second to none. The biscuits and breakfast menu indicate they also know how to cook. We stayed in the Austen room and could not fault it. Will recommend this one to friends and family.

My husband and I stayed at The Greens for three nights, from the 2nd Jan....absolutely perfect in every single way.We stayed in the Shakespeare room with spa bath..Moulton Brown products, four poster bed...comfy too....free Champagne...homemade cake, breakfast to die for...fresh fruit, full cooked breakfast, cereals...choice of breakfast menu, unlimited tea & coffee.
Jacky and Claudio are fantastic hosts , nothing too much trouble for them...sorry the face wipes got packed Jacky- Rob thought I'd brought them with me....
The Greens is in a good location, Leura has plenty of places to eat....and it's not too far to travel to Katoomba, and Scenic world...etc
Thank you for a wonderful stay....equally equivalent to many 5* hotels we have stayed in :-)

Room Tip: Shakespeare room...fantastic spa bath, four poster comfy bed

We stayed only one night in this gorgeous B&B but wish we could have stayed longer. Everything about it was perfect and incredibly comfortable. Home-baked goodies on arrival, sherry and port and champagne and a million types of tea and coffee, chocolates and probably the best breakfast we've ever had. Thank you for a great stay!

Claudio and Jacqui are great hosts - welcoming and friendly. This is one of the best B@B's I hace stayed in. Our room was freshly painted and carpeted with a beautiful newly renovated bathroom with double spa - bliss after those long walks. The guest living area was confortable, with personal touches like the home made biscuits. The location is fantastic - peaceful, but only a few steps to the Leura Mall and its shops and restaurants. Jacqui excels with the breakfast choices - delicious omelet on day 1, or scrambled eggs and goat cheese day 2. Thats if you didn't want the fantastic country breakfast. Highly recommended

Room Tip: We had a room on the front verandah. No street noise. Wonderfully comfortable.

Our hostess could not have been more helpful and had thought of all the little touches. There was champagne in the fridge for gusest to help themselves to an aperitive, home made biscuits and freshly cooked breakfasts with a great choice.
Our room was very comfortable, a good bed and great spa bath.

Room Tip: The Jane Austen room was very comfortable with a spa bath

I recently spent four nights at "The Greens" with three of my friends. It was the best "B and B" experience I have had. So close to the main mall and yet extremely peaceful. Everything had been thought of and attended to. Jacky and Claudio are charming and generous hosts who make their guests feel very welcome. The breakfasts are amazing. Thoughtful touches include chocolates, champagne and bath salts. If you are looking for five star accommodation in beautiful Leura then "The Greens" is the place for you!

Room Tip: All rooms are sumptuously appointed and beautifully comfortable. Choose one with a spa if you enjoy...
