“5 stars for me, 3 stars from Joanne”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

I had the best meal since I arrived in Australia. 7 Large prawns over linguini pasta with the perfect sauce, however, Joanne struck out on the calamari which was very tough and the eggplant pasta that was just okay. I would highly suggest trying the prawn pasta.

“Great food, service and even better dessert”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

I came with my girlfriend on a Saturday night in January after booking ahead for dinner. We ordered a main each and a side and the portions were pretty well-sized and delicious to boot. After seeing many other tables get large desserts, we ended up ordering a dessert each. Fantastic and very tasty. The food was great, service was attentive, ambiance was good being an old late 1800's cottage and the value was excellent. Would recommend to tourists and locals alike!

“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

After Sydney's hottest ever day, train disruptions and a journey here taking twice as long as it should, it would be hard to please a weary traveller. But dinner here cured all. Wonderful atmosphere, even in 30 degree heat. There is no Aircon, it is rarely needed in Katoomba. The staff serving we're charming, attentive and humorous. The menu excellent and the food quality superb. Great value and a really nice evening out, relaxing and pleasant.

“Excellent Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

The restaurant building is a typical old Blue Mountains timber building with a lot of charm.
We were made to feel welcome from the moment we entered. The menu was quite varied with the addition of some blackboard specials and all tastes were amply catered for. It was surprising to see such a variety in this small restaurant. The evening we attended they were catering for two large groups as well as other guests. Whilst it was a little noisy it did not detract from the atmosphere. Our meals were excellent value and we attempted all of three courses , something we dont normally do. The service was excellent and not overdone. The owners are willing to speak with their customers and the evening we were there it seemed to be frequented by many locals which is always a good sign. They also have a take way menu.

“A delightful find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

The menu is varied and different. The specials board offered mouth watering choices. The service was excellent. Each course was delivered so promptly that we had to ask for a rest before dessert. We shared a trio of chocolate delights that did not disappoint. I will return here just for this excellent restaurant.
