We walked to another cafe (just a few stores downhill side) at first place but was looked strangely and told that they were colsing. Then we walked up and saw the Elephant bean which looked more friendly from outside. The cafe looks warm welcoming. The waitress recommended us menu a bit then she left us. I loved that as felt not too pressured like some restaurants.
We had 3 hot chocolate & food. Drinks were fantastic served with a bar of chocolate (& it's not too sweet) with cocoa power. It looked modern and tasted great! Then we ordered Pumpkin tart & crepe (served with banana, melt chocolate, creme & cripsy hazelnut). They all cooked freshly. Tart skin was awesome melt into the mouth! served with veg salad which was so fresh and clean. When we finished we all told the chef (he 's skinny and tall) & I can see the kitchen tools were clean and neat. Even though it's a small cafe but the chef is very professional.
However, in the next morning we served by another chef. Food wasn't that good and a bit pricy. Drinks still great. Overall I like it. & Closing hours were flexible! The waitress said it depends on customers :) I recommend best time to go is evening.
