The Triple R Restaurant & pub is located in the old Railway Refreshment Rooms (tripleR), at the old Glen Innes railway station. There's a huge car park out front.
Wandering in to the lovely old building was just what I was looking for - a step away from the soulless bistro pubs, step into wonderful country hospitality, where everybody will have a chat. First to meet us was Matt the owner. Sometimes you'll find him behind the bar, and sometimes mingling with the patrons. Everybody who walked in received Matt's personal welcome.
Have a beer and a meal at the bar, at a table, or out on the platform. Food was great.
The Fishing Club uses this pub as their home base, and there are raffles and darts in the back bar.
A great place to relax.
