Now we have all heard about the trouble that this hotel has had but that has nothing to do with the accommodation. Its not cheap but then nothing in Coogee is. We only had a Village View room which overlooks Vicar Street nothing really wrong with that until its the week end and the drunks are loud and boisterous and if you are a light sleeper that may be an issue. This Hotel is just across the road from the beach which is one of the best family beaches in Australia which is overlooked by the Beer-garden so if the kids are big enough to look themselves tell the missus that you are taking the kids to the beach drop them off with the lifeguards and head to the Beach Bar. but back to the room it was spacious and airy with real room to move, comfy bed and nearly conformable couch, very handy to the restaurants in Coogee Bay Road all in all this is a pretty good Hotel and we would stay again and recommend other stay as well.
