“Spacious apartment with fantastic view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We (family of 4) stayed for 4 nights at Toscana Village Resort in December 2012. We loved the apartment; spacious, modern and well equipped. The view from the large terrace was beautiful. The location of this resort is ideal; it is just a short walk to the centre of town, but far enough from the party music. The resort has nice swimming pools and also the private garage is ideal. Last but not least; the service is excellent. During our stay the receptionist helped us booking a very nice sailing trip and some clothes that we left behind were sent to us via express post.

We stayed here for 3 nights for a small get away. The room was very nice, little piece of Tuscany in Airlie Beach. Convenient kitchen and laundry as well.
Breathtaking views and amazing sunrise views.

Couple of small things
Car park is not recommended for big utes (like my ford ranger, 20 point turn to get in the car park lol) but then ended up just parking on the road.
Beds are on the hard side, if you like a hard bed, you will have no prob
Laundry was not very clean, but closed the door, and it didn't matter

And also, if you want to walk during your stay, be prepared for that hill, very steep lol. But thats not the hotels fault obviously. Great exercise to walk of the beer after a night out for dinner and drinks.

All in all, it was a nice place to stay and we had a great time.

My family and i stayed there in sept 2012 for my 50th birthday and loved every minute of it, from the view from the balconywhich was awesome, to the swimming pool which we spent plenty of time in. The place was clean, plenty of room and quality sheets on the beds....no complaints at all and will definatly go back and recommend it to others.
Thanx for a wonderful stay :)

As we pulled up our bus driver told us we were staying at the best hotel in Airlie (she had drop offs at several other hotels as well). It didn't take long for us to realize that she was right. We stayed here for five days and loved it! We had seven people in a three bedroom apartment that was very spacious with amazing views overlooking the water. It had a full kitchen so we were able to cook some meals which saved some on the expenses. The only thing that you need to consider is there is a big hill you have to climb to and from main street. We are all in pretty good health but it could be challenging to anyone in poor condition. There is a small supermarket right at the base of the hill so you can easily stock your kitchen. We spent New Year's Eve on the spacious balcony watching the fireworks in the main part of town. It couldn't have been better.

Room Tip: Make sure you overlook the water. Do not use the pullout sofa, request a roll away bed instead. Be...

How nice of the bus driver to say that to you (though I am sure she says that about all the resorts) ... and I am so very pleased that you had such an enjoyable stay. The big balconies are great for out door dining and just the thing for having a champers and watching the fire works!
You should make it a regular New Years holiday!

Great quiet place in paradise. There was noise heard from the next door neighbors nor the streets below. Fabulous place for family...upgraded to a three bedroom which was very spacious. There is an incline but it is manageable short walk to the airlie centre. View of the ocean was great. The kids loved the four pools. Great value for money. We were assisted to book two great tours. Thanks to the helpful staff.

Thank you for that - our main aim is to provide an atmosphere where families can relax and have fun together. We are even tending to get lots of families coming together in groups of three, four and five apartments and using the resort as their base to relax together and go off on day tours as a group.
Thank you for your comments, it is pleasing when we get the affirmation from families that what we are trying to provide is being enjoyed.

My male companion organised this and this is totally amazing, he asked for appartment 2, it was bright, airy, clean and vistas were breathtaking. Only a short walk down the hill to an array of gorgeous eateries!!! Our host was a lovely man who was keen to help and and always had a smile on his dial. I so didn't want to come home, very relaxing and easy to find and because we had a car lock up garage!!!! Thanks again Toscana brilliant stay, definitely back again!!!! ;)

Staying on the hill on Golden Orchid Drive - is all about the great vistas! It is really a very pretty place in the Whitsundays looking out of the different hues of the blue water out to the islands.
Each apartment has its own lock up garage which stops others taking your spot - also good for security too.
Looking forward to welcoming you back - to the great vistas, when you have a few spare days

What a place. We had never been to Airlie Beach so decided to include as part of our holiday as we visited the Whitsundays. Not knowing Airlie Beach we searched the net for accomodation and decided on Toscana. We thought the cost, being so cheap the accomodation wouldn't be the best we had stayed in, but thought we would give it ago.Well we arrived up this steep hill in a bus that transported us from Able Point Marina, were dropped off outside, the hill was so steep and my bag was so heavy and full that I was having trouble from it rolling back down the hill. :) We were then faced with a flight of stairs to take us to reception, so the wise things was to leave the bags downstairs and walk up to reception to check in. The lady who greeted us was wonderful, very nice. She then said she would take us to our room. We got there and she opened up our door to our rooom and Wow, what a fantastic place. We too asked for 1 bedroom and was presented with a 2 bedroom Unit. I can't explain how wonderful it was, it was neat, clean, 2 bathrooms, tiled floors maganificent furniture, great kitchen and the views were to die for. We shopped in Airlie at the local store, got all our meats etc and cooked in and had wonderful wine and meals on our balcony every night listening to the Airlie Beach atmosphere. It was pretty at night all the lights were on and the staff were excellent, helped us when we needed it. We never thought we would ever go back to Airlie again but now Toscanna has wanted us to return again soon. The steep hill to the shops was something we faced every morning and by the end of the trip we were moving up it a little quicker, it was great exercise, but could of called a cab if we needed it or hired a car. A wonderful place, great memories and a place to visit, highly reccomended and great value. Kaylene and Alan

Room Tip: They say they are all wonderful, we just asked for one upstairs with a view

That is funny about the bag...reminds me the very first time I came to our resort and parked in the car park at the front. I was sure the car was going to roll on its side as it felt like such a steep angle. ...now I don't even notice there is an incline ..I do still notice the walk back up the hill though...wish that would seem less of an incline! but .. I know it does me good,....I know it does me good,...
