“Great way to cool off”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Nice place to relax and work on your tan :) Divided into different areas so there is a place for young kids and a separate one for adults

Excellent place to swim without having to worry about stingers. Very large lagoon. Change rooms, toilets, kiddie areas.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

A completely free outdoor pool that is very large and allows you sto swim all year round in safety. It has lifeguards, a sandy bank and grassy shaded areas. Perfect for all ages. Don't miss it. the highlight of Airlie beach.

“Free clean and large lagoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012 via mobile

Christmas morning we headed to the lagoon. The lagoon is free and man made. There is enough grass, sand and shade for everyone. The water is extremely clean and the depth varies from shallow to 2 metres deep. There are several life guarded on duty and several clean toilets and change rooms available. The lagoon is a most see and experience whilst in Airlie Beach.

The airlie beach man made lagoon is a fantastic experience for all ages. I went there with my partner nearly every day of our stay in airlie beach. It's free and the lagoon is kept well maintained.
