“Beautiful apartments”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

We shared a 2 bedroom apartment with friends for a 4 night stay. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean, tidy and very nicely decorated. We loved sitting out on the balcony to dine and watch the sunset each night. The views over Airlie were great and we could see all the boats leaving for their day trips. Swam in the pool and that was really nice. Shame that the spa was closed as would have been handy after a long walk one day. Would have been nice to have access to a barbeque . I would definitely recommend these apartments to friends . Hope to go back and stay there again in the future.
PS I think you really do need to have a car if you stay there as others have said.

Room Tip: Get an apartment higher up for the best views. Only get close to the pool if you have kids or want t...

We stayed at reflections for a weeks holiday and had a great time the apartments are probably the largest in airlie beach,we spent most of our time out on the balcony as the view was so good and weather so warm.the managers of the apartments are very helpful and make you feel welcome.the pool is great for a swim and relax after a long day out sailing or maybe the walk up the hill, great for families, can't Wait to go back.

We stayed with friends in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was a beautifully appointed apartment with everything you could need. The kitchen was fully equipped & there was an inside dining area & also a dining suite on the the large balcony. The living area & both bedrooms opened onto the balcony which had stunning views across Airlie Beach & the Whitsundays. We stayed in Apt 2 which was on the end & we were able to watch birds in the morning in the nearby remnant rainforest. A BBQ somewhere on the property would be good. One downside is that there is currently a lot of building work going on, in & near, the main street of Airlie creating quite a bit of noise. Work begins very early - 7am, so no sleeping in!

Room Tip: Apartment 2 was on an end with good views & direct access from the car park so no stairs.

Everything about these apartments was amazing, I don't really know where to begin...
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, it was huge...it could be like a penthouse, the kitchen was amazing, all the cooking essentials everything you need is all there, the lounge room is huge and overlooks a balcony with amazing views of Airlie, and the coral reef, there is a couple foxtel or austar channels to watch (paytv) there is aircon in 2 of the rooms lounge room and bedroom,

the bedroom was massive had an amazing king sized comfortable bed, open plan bathroom, free standing bathtub, the shower only has a screen, toilet room was a little bit small, the bedroom also has a balcony overlooking Airlie and the coral sea, every morning when you wake up its so crystal clear blue it was unbelievable there is 2 dining tables one is on the balcony outside and one in living kitchen area..

Grocery shops are about 7km away in Cannonvale which has a coles and reject shop, its just a little village or you can go to Target country which is only another 10 maybe less km's up the road from that,
There is a lot to do in Airlie beach, its great for young adults, every night the pub goes off and is very busy, and also a lot of fun at night time, theres a lot of little shops and major brands, and a little grocery shop there as well (it doesn't stock that much) the beach is amazing, I went in the winter time so it was still a bit too chilly to swim, but there is also Airlie Lagoon a man made lagoon type pool, its huge, it has sand and grass areas picnic tables....and cafe's behind it,

I would defiantly suggest to book all your excursions up there like snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef (choose the outter reef it has more colours and more fish) there is about 10 places where you can book ..on the website I found a whole day cruise lunch included snorkel gear and everything included for about $220- but when you get up there its half of that maybe even more cheaper..exactly the same cruise and everything, I would recommend Cruise Whitsunday's and also go to Hill Inlet, the view is amazing and stunning, it just takes your breath away.

If your flying from anywhere in australia i would recommend to fly to Hamilton Island first and take the boat trip over, it takes about 1 and a half hours to get to Airlie (shute Harbour) but its well worth it, you visit all the other islands and its just nice to sit up on the top deck and relax after a long flight,

Theres 2 delicious restaurants I would highly recommend 1- Get That Indian and 2- Salt Seafood Restaurant (They're both in Airlie beach plaza) its like 8 restaurants all in one place you go up and order any place you want and then they bring it out to you.

I will defiantly come back again!
I cant wait.

Theres only one con, hire a car, there is 2 massive hills to get to the apartments, don't try to walk it with 10kg bags it will nearly kill you, if you don't mind the walk and are very fit this is perfect! but just get a cab or hire a car.

Beautiful view on the Coral Sea from the balcony and from inside the apartment, beautiful huge modern apartment (loved the bathtub!). Very quiet and peaceful. You will find all the appliances you need in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff (they booked a seaplane tour for the Great Barrier Reef and they advanced the 2 x 450$ tour money). Very good value (but that was low season, we got a beautiful weather though). Nice pool and jacuzzi too. It's better to have a car (you get a parking spot when you book your room), otherwise the taxi is 10$ to the harbour, the bus can take you to the shopping center -with Coles-, and you can get to the city by foot), just be advised that it's a very steep slope up to the hotel, even if you have a good physical condition... Think about getting out the trash (it might be charged if you don't). We would go back without hesitating.

Room Tip: Ask for an un-obstructed view on the sea

We have just returned home from a week in Airlie, staying at the beautiful Whitsunday Reflections. Everything is perfect. ..view, service, managers, room. Awesome. Will be back.
(A shame there are no lifts...stairs got a bit much with heavy luggage. But obviously because of the way the resort is positioned on the hill, lifts probably weren't appropriate)
