We were happy with the location of the accommodation as it was only about a three minute drive into Airlie Beach and there was a shopping centre within walking distance. The apartment was tidy and equipped with the essentials but there were a few dead cocroaches about. The decor was ok with an exception to the bright blue lounge that we had to lay blankets over as it was very dirty (I would have expected this in a backpackers hostel) . The pool also needed a good srub as the bottom was slimy and dirty. But with all that said our stay (5 days) was comfortable. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Stayed here in June 2013 for 2 nights.
Location is perfect. & close to shops etc.
Only downsfall is the noise from other occupants in other rooms, walls are paper thin & hard to sleep.
I would stay here again & recommend this place.
Owners are very helpful & friendly.

This is our third trip to Whitsunday Waterfront Apartments and we love it more every time we come back. We love the ocean views from the apartment and the fact that it is just across the street from the beach. There is a skate park just up the road from the apartment and Airlie is just a short drive away. There is a pool in the complex and a bbq area. We will definitely be back.

Room Tip: The ocean view rooms are great and if you can request number 18. We stayed in 19 and our friends we...

Stayed three nights with two children. Brilliant location across from swimming enclosure with park next door, swimming pool in complex and skate park up the road. Path along foreshore at front door is perfect for riding bikes or scooters and Airlie main beach is just a short drive over the hill. We were more than happy with the value for money ... others charging far more did not have such a beautiful view. Apartments are well appointed. Only drawback is lack of airconditioning in bedrooms.

We stayed here for a week and found this to be a most delightful place to stay. We had a ground floor parkview apartment and enjoyed viewing several different bird species during our stay. Our apartment had two bedrooms and open plan living area with well appointed kitchen.
A short walk through the park led us to the Cannonvale shopping centre where we were able to purchase fresh fish, meat, fruit & vegetables at reasonable prices. The local Bistro is also located here and was frequented a couple of times - excellent meals & good prices.
A walking path from Cannonvale to Airlie Beach along waterfront starts across the road from the Apartment complex and is a great way to travel to Airlie.
Manager approachable and willing to assist with any issue.
Our Unit was well appointed and had everything required for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Excellent location on waterfront. Nice views across Coral Sea at high tide.
Well priced accommodation and will definately return.

Room Tip: Park view rooms are off the roadway and offer a little more privacy and a liitle quieter. Excellent...

Our family (five adults) stayed three nights. We stayed in an ocean view (free upgrade) two bedroom ground floor apartment. The cost was reasonable (as were my expectations) for a three star establishment. The manager was convivial. We only had a couple of concerns. The light over the BBQ (that we made use of twice for cooking tea) didn’t work and because the sun set soon after 5pm (July) we had to cook by torchlight (I did report it but it wasn’t fixed by our 2nd cooking night). The other concern was more of a ‘design fault’. There was a small step (about 3 or 4 cm) going into the bathroom from the hallway and we stubbed our toes many times early on until I placed a hand-towel on the floor over the step alerting everyone to it. The small pool was nice, the beach wasn’t really a beach and we didn’t swim in the sea there. (The shore was stoney and muddy). Location wasn’t too bad, a healthy walk into Airlie Beach. The supermarket was a short walk away. Furbishments in the apartment were adequate, the sofa bed was used by one of our family and we had an enjoyable time there. Nice and quiet. Couldn’t go past the $150/night. Impressed by the general cleanliness of the Cannonvale area, parkland included.

Room Tip: Ask for a second storey room for better views.

We only managed to stay one night of the five we booked because the room was disgusting! Mould in fridge, which had obviously been there a long time and crawling insects in the cupboards. Had to clean cooking utensils before we could use them. Sofa was badly stained and generally grubby, as was the carpet. Lampshades were thick with dust and looked like they hadn't seen a duster in their lives! We had to clean the toilet seat before we used it. Shower cubicle was grimey. Walls were stained. Had to pay dollar for toilet roll if we needed an extra one. Air conditioner unit so loud that we couldn't sleep. Owner refued to give refund, but must have known how bad the room was because they said 'you know, it's only a 3-star!'. So disappointed with this place.
