“Great Day out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

We visited Airlie Beach August 2013 primarily to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, we chose SV Domino on the basis of the other reviews. We had a thoroughly enjoyable day on the beautifully maintained wooden yacht. The captain and crew were very informative and friendly.
We snorkelled then had lunch which was really good, i thought the time available for snorkelling was a bit on the short side and the GBR was not as dramatic as i expected, maybe you have to go farther north for the colourful reef. On the sail back we saw mother and baby humpbacks feeding it was magic.

“A memorable experience, best snorkel view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

A very relaxed sailing tour, small group of 8, suitable for family and couples. I was 4 months pregnant when I did the tour with my hubby and I did not feel sea sick or tired as we were sailing at a comfortable pace and sitting on the deck most of the time. (Only Tip: make sure you have a big hat with straps so it won't be blown). Hubby even got the chance to sail the boat. This is a highly recommended tour for people who get sea sick on those big cataract cruises! We snorkelled at the Hali Bai Reef, the best we have seen so far, even comparable to some scuba diving places. We had the island all to ourselves, and Reg and Greg prepared us an amazing delicious lunch (Tip: if you are a seafood lover like me you will absolutely love it otherwise you might want to request other options before hand). My husband was not into seafood so he had chicken instead. Overall, thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

“Wonderful day out sailing to Hook Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

A most lovely relaxing day in a beautiful part of the world. Reg and Greg made us so welcome and were highly professional and informative.
The sailing and snorkelling was out of this world.
Many thanks to you both and it is a definite must when we come back to the Whitsunday Islands in the future and highly recommended.

“Snorkeling around paradise beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

A great day's experience, sailing out to a paradise island on a yacht with a friendly captain and just 8 people in total, snorkelling around a reef, meeting a turtle, tasty lunch alone on a paradise beach, and then sailing back. We steered the boat. A trip to remember for ever.

“Relaxing sail to Robinson Crusoe island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

Incredibly relaxing trip out to a tiny deserted island just off of Hook Island in Whitsundays. Beautiful, scenic trip out and back. Captain Reg and crew Greg were knowledgeable and interesting people. We snorkeled around the island bay and then had a delicious lunch (homemade by Reg's wife) served to us on a handy picnic table on the island. Only 8 of us on board so felt very pampered. Only problem is you can't control the wind and there wasn't much on our day. So part of the time Reg had to use the engine which is not as exciting but it was still a great trip and decent value for money for a day long trip.
