Wonderful experience being so close to crocodiles (of all ages) in their own environment. Great guides, very informative, learnt lots. & the bbq lunch & afternoon tea, awesome, guys. Great value for your money. Highly recommended!

Thanks for your review, Rebecca.

We are glad to hear that you had such a great time on the Safari.

There are still plenty of baby crocodiles around with their mums looking out for them.

We hope you will come back to the Whitsundays for another holiday in the future.

Regards

Jacqui Watson

“Great trip very informative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

We had a great time on the safari. This is a tour into the crocodiles natural habitat, not a zoo or farm, so its hard to predict what you will see from day to day. We did see a number of baby crocs and a few large guys sneaking into the water. The commentary was terrific and very informative. The land tour was also extremely informative and interesting. We managed to see quite a bit of wildlife and learn a great deal about the area. A great day!

“Excellent tour with knowledgeable and entertaining guides.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Very good tour. It is always risky when wildlife is the focus, as animals can't just be produced from 'Central Casting'. However we did see big and small crocs on the Proserpine River with excellent commentary from experienced and knowledgeable guides, who also had good senses of humour without being corny. The melaleuca and wetlands tour was equally good. Very informative and raised our awareness of the environmental issues affecting the area. Not only that but the boys can cook! Beautiful food. So if you want to see an animal show don't go to this, go to SeaWorld or Australia Zoo. But if you really want to learn important facts and see animals in their natural habitats, don't hesitate to go on this tour.

“No big crocs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

We were very disappointed on this tour. All credit to the guys because they have a good set up and they know a lot of interesting facts and present them well but on the day we went we saw very little (only 2 very small inanimate crocs) and we found the dry land tour a waste of time. Ironically we saw more on the bus home! I've got no doubt that on some days this tour would be great but we didn't get any luck and were hugely disappointed. It worked out to be an expensive and uneventful day. I would recommend going on a tour during the wet seasons instead because the crocs won't be under the water.

We appreciate your opinion and thank you for your feedback.

We are sorry that you didn’t enjoy the tour as much as you expected. However you did see the legendary saltwater crocodile in the wild, in its own habitat, which is an amazing experience in itself.

This is the start of the wet season, but no matter what season it is, crocodiles will be in the water a lot of the time because that is where they live. However we do run our cruise at the lowest point of the tide during the day, to provide maximum opportunity to spot these magnificent reptiles on the river bank, in between their swims in the river to hunt and feed.

We are glad that you appreciated the expertise of our guides. We are very proud of their professionalism and knowledge.

We hope that you had a wonderful holiday here in the beautiful Whitsundays.
