“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Just had a $25 prawn pizza from Ilforno's and had to pick out the prawn tails. Would expect a peeled prawn on a pizza. Whilst waiting for my take away I heard the staff slagging a customer and then he went on to tell a blatant lie to another, although I have to say his colleague called him on it. If they have no respect for their customers then I won't be back.

“Great takeaway for a no fuss dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

We only got takeaway from Il Forno so I can't comment on the dine in service, however we very happy with what we received. The service was great, with not a very long wait for our Supreme pizza, garlic bread and berry dessert pizza.

The crust was beautiful and thin with quite generous toppings, although we chose the pizza with the most on it for this reason, we like a lot of toppings. The garlic bread was different but nice, i probably wouldn't get the dessert pizza again, but it was still nice. I would however definitely order from here again. Yes a little pricey for 'pizza' but it is quality and around the standard prices in Palm Cove. It was great for a no fuss dinner back in our hotel room that was still satisfying and had us still talking about it the next day.

“Great pizzas, no fuss”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Ate here one night with kids on holidays. Very nice pizzas but perhaps a little pricey. No more so than anywhere else on palm cove but given there's only one size you'd think you could get a pizza for less than $20. Service was a little hit and miss but nothing too bad. Enough to lose a star rating but not enough to bother us. Would go back.

“Nice pizza and pasta”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Our son was not well and so we opted for takeaway rather than dine in. We got a meatlovers pizza, a cannelloni and lasagne. The pizza was very nice, lovely thin crust and my fussy 4 year old actually ate two slices which is very high praise. The pasta was very nice and came with salad as well. The service was very friendly. Only downside was the price, but no different from everywhere else in Palm Cove - this is not a budget friendly dining destination.

“Very overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

I had the Primavera which is just boccincini cheese on a tomato base with a couple of basil leaves. If there is one thing I hate it's a thick base with tons of cheese on the top, it was the exact opposite here, the base was good but the topping was very stingy indeed. The cheese was almost non existent! At $22 I expect a little more than what I got! Also, the wine is served in glass tumblers and wasn't cool at all. The clincher was paying and being informed that we would incur a $2 charge for using our credit card. What a brass neck!
