We've just got back from palm cove - family short break.
Palm Cove is very quiet and relaxing. I don't think it was geared for families - the kids menus were limited. although we did enjoy our dinner at the Peppers restaurant and at bela baci.
Sanctuary, Palm Cove is where we stayed - nice apartment, nicley fitted out and very large. Gardens and pool were lovely.
With staying here we got to use the Novotel facilities ie. gym, etc... not worth it. Nothing in there worth using -it's advertised as having a kids club. Child minding is $50 for 3 hours - far too expensive.
A little disappointed with Sancturary - too expensive with what you got. We were there for 6 nights - no change of towels at all (I would have expected 1 change while we were there). Management were not very helpful. I asked for new beach towels after my son had taken a tumble and bled all over them on our way to the beach. I was told I had to wash them myself as the apartments came as is. Not good enough I think especially given that it was 8am and we were planning a trip to the beach that morning - didn't happen with bloody towels.
The management were not particularly friendly nor sympathetic when we arrived with a sleeping baby in your arms and insisted on all of us waiting for signing in etc... rather than letting one of us settle our baby on arrival and the other give all our credit details - perhaps a few smiles would have helped.
I wouldn't stay there again
