“Dropped in for breakfast, great food and friendly service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Breakfast was freshly cooked, well cooked, cheap and huge. I couldn't finish mine.
The staff were very friendly and the service we received was excellent. Highly recommended.

“Terrible service - AVOID!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

Well we didn't get as far as actually tasting anything as we were not given the opportunity to order anything! Wondered in around 1030 on a Tuesday morning, actually spoke with the young waitress to check it was ok to sit at a table near the entrance, and proceeded to watch at least another two groups walk in and be given menus, have orders taken etc. Now if the place was actually busy one could almost sometimes expect that, however it was about half full. After 11 minutes of ignorance, we left never to return.

“Melbourne foodies should avoid”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

This place gets good ratings on trip advisor, but is really a let down. Would be laughed out of town in Melbourne. The bread is poor - basically thick cut slices of awful spongey white bread. The coffee is OK at best' not as good as the rising sun. My advice for any one visiting palm cover is to self cater if possible, the whole area is a let down and over priced.

“Amazing memories of our First ever visit to Queensland”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We were so blessed to be able to experience this little piece of heaven on earth during a brief visit to this amazing part of the Land of Oz. My sister and I and our husbands were trying to see as much of the country as possible during our trip across the big pond last year. We had a day-long excursion to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef scheduled the day after our arrival, so we had most of the day to explore our surroundings which included Palm Cove. Our breakfast was wonderful, coffee amazing and the view spectacular! The owner took time out his busy schedule to chat with us and share some history of the restaurant. We are so glad we had the opportunity enjoy the Aussie fare here and meet such friendly people.
