“A family dream”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014 via mobile

During 14 days, Every morning, each member of our family was declaring his satisfaction to stay at this hotel.
Beautiful tropical garden, hudge terrasse with 3 different spots, well- maintained house with space for 4 people and air-cond , good beds (!) well equiped kitchen
More than this the team are customers oriented and like to make you happy
Everything is closed : swimming pool, beach, fish market to cook on barbecue, downcenter and the nice smily dominicans
if you want to moove a little bit, rent a quad or a car, the beaches are so different and georgous
Great place for great value

Great value for location. Problem is that 4 Italian families moved in after we'd been here for a week and having a wonderful time. 10 children ranging in ages 5 - 13 screaming and hollering all day long by the pool and all night long outside. It was a nightmare!! Would have recommended this place in a heartbeat. We come to DR every year and would've loved to stay here again - now, NO WAY!!

i have been here many times, last time was 3 years ago, they added ainditioner to the room in the second floor, also they give a kind of contitental breakfast for everyone in the villa. It has a parking lot with guards, secured entrance after 7:00pm, like 500 meters away from paseo de la costanera plaza and the center of everything

We spent the last week here and could not be more pleased with our stay. Every person who works here is wonderful and so helpful. It's in an ideal location being minutes from town and right on the beach. There are restaurants very close in every direction. Also, the villa is spotless and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. Everything has been well maintained and it's a great place for families (we brought our 4 and 7 year old). If you plan on whale watching or zip lining, Samana is 45 minutes away and the drive is gorgeous!

Also, we stayed in villa #1 right up front. Some have suggested villas in the back, but hearing and seeing the ocean from every bedroom, kitchen, and porch was amazing! The sound of cars never bothered us.

One more thing... if you are in the market for art, there is the nicest artist named Ronald on the side of the road right before the painted wall. His is the first booth to the right of the road if you're coming from the villas. He and his girlfriend both paint and speak great English.

Can't wait to come back!

The rooms very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is close enough to town to walk in at any time but far enough away so that it is relatively quiet. The beach is also quite accessible and is perfect for swimming. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, price, and functional kitchen. Las Terrenas provided a relaxing and cultural experience. The pool is larger than one would expect at a small hotel like this. Also, the beach towels were large and washed everyday -- a nice extra feature. Bottled water is readily available and recommended.

Room Tip: Chose a room back from the road for a quieter experience. We opted for the optional air conditioning...

Great place to stay in Las Terrenas. We stayed one week. Nice swimming pool. Large villa with a lot of space inside and outside (big terrace). Free rapid wifi connection. Beach just across the road (may be a little noisy - better to have a villa in the back). Friendly people at reception desk. Close to all shops of las Terrenas "downtown".
