We had already spent two weeks at a different place and wanted to be near the village when we chose Albachiara for our next two weeks. This was a good choice for that as it put us near restaurants , shops,etc. The downstairs one bedroom units are just enough. Nice size porch with 2 comfy chairs and table as well as a small dining table. Then screened louvered doors lead into a room with sofa, small dining table with chairs and basic kitchen with cook top,fridge and sink.The cooking equipment was of good quality .There was a juicer , blender and espresso pot but no electric coffee pot.Beyond that you enter the bedroom and bathroom. AC is in the bedroom only We sometimes like to watch TV in bed but the first place they put us had the TV in the main room.And there was some early AM construction going on behind our room. So the staff most graciously moved us to another location which was perfect.
We loved this place. The staff is exceptional. From dinner reservations to help with getting needed medication, they were always ready to help. There was a bit of a language issue for us as we don't speak much Spanish, but Johanna always went out of her way to be available with her knowledge of English. Yes, the beach across the street is a disappointment but the pool was great !
