“An A*** B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

We stayed 5 nights in Peveril House and found it First Class in every way. A charming cottage set in a beautiful, wildlife-friendly garden on the outside; a modern and elegant home on the inside. The accommodation is excellent, with nothing left out that can add to comfort. Breakfasts are scrummy - we could have eaten them 3 times a day! but there are several pubs serving very good food a few minutes drive away, so we did not need to. Jo and David so warm and friendly, you really do feel welcome.

This B&B is within easy reach of many of the most beautful and interesting places in Dorset, such as Lullworth Cove, Corfe Castle and the Isle of Purbeck. All in all one of our best English holidays.

This beautiful property can be a your sanctuary for a very good price. The owners are friendly and make you feel more than welcome. They go over and above what you would expect and the cakes on arrival are very tasty and home made. The breakfast is fresh and some from the garden which will keep you going all day.
The room is lovely and comfy, it just feels like home.

Stayed here for two nights, Jo & David were very welcoming and you were made to feel right at home. Breakfast amazing - husband recommends the scrambled eggs! We would definitely stay again.

It is rare to find accommodation where there is nothing to criticize. We were made to feel extremely welcome and had three very comfortable nights. Fresh flowers in our room and milk in a jug for our early morning tea made my day. The breakfast was delicious too.

What an unexpected delight. Jo and her husband David make you feel like you are staying with friends. Definitely would recommend this. Not good for couples with children

Fantastic rural B&B one mile from the A31 Ringwood to Dorchester main road near the village of Sturminster Marshall.
Gorgeous en-suite room with an extremely comfortable king size bed with quality linens. A quiet and peaceful house, we slept very well during both our visits.
Jo and David are most welcoming and offer tea and cake on arrival. Jo's breakfasts are divine, with local produce and home made jams.
For dinner, do not miss the Anchor at Shapwick gastro pub, a 10 minute drive from Peveril House www.anchorshapwick.co.uk
Truly outstanding, we have already booked for another weekend in the summer.
