We were recommended this pub as a good place to eat - what a disappointment. I can only think that there must have been a change of management of something. Their website is full of statements of the wonderful menu and hospitable welcome. It couldn't be more different when you actually experience the place. The management need to re-visit their website to remind themselves what they say they provide as it bears no resemblence to reality. We ate in the garden - no plants, just weeds, poorly kept. No play facilities for childen - just broken down old boat rotting in a corner and areas of gravel (no idea what these are for). Service virtually non-existant - you have to work hard to get a smile or even an acknowledgement you're in the pub. I could go on - in short, avoid!
