My sister and I travelled to Tulum in the second week of May 2011. After a terrible experience at another hotel, we found this piece of paradise. We were very warmly welcomed and given great rooms even though we didn't have prior reservations. Tomasso and his family are wonderful hosts! They truly make the place feel homely and inviting. The whole property is impeccable -- the decor is gorgeous, the beach is serene and breathtaking, the food at Sahara is fantastic, everything in the hotel is extremely clean and new (the room even smelled great) -- all in all, this is THE place to go to in Tulum. Some of the highlights of our stay here was the mariachi band that performed in the cafe during dinner one night and Max (the family dog who runs around on the beach) who I fell in love with.
Jashita was the perfect blend of luxurious, relaxing and homely. Our vacation was saved and I cannot wait to go back there again! Attaching some photos from our trip.
