“Family with small kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

We spent 2 days at the resort over Christmas and boxing day. We got to see kangaroos close up. The rooms were great but not every unit comes with a kitchen (we should have asked). Buggies with very friendly drivers take you to and from your unit which unfortunately for us just didn't work well as there was always something needed back in the car because we didn't want to lug everything to the unit via the buggies. We ate breakfast there both mornings - cannot fault one thing with the food - it was awesome. We opted to have breakfast included which worked out far cheaper. Rates weren't bad but dinosaur display quite steep considering we were staying there - we opted not to go and see them. Staff were very friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights room was lovely, friendly staff, food was good, free push bikes was great, lots of places to walk, only complaint was the shop wasn't open and I wanted to spend some money! I also would have paid to see the dinosaurs had we have got a discount seeing we stayed there, $37 was a little steep. maybe they should offer half price for people staying. we would have paid that! special mention to Sally who served us lunch, and we got to say Happy New year to Clive !

Clearly this resort used to be very good, but appears to have declined rapidly recently. The facilities were poorly maintained, often closed and there was a clear shortage of staff across the whole resort - there appeared to be a real lack of management. However the majority of the staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. With investment this resort could be very good. Very limited wifi access (none in the rooms) and one main area didn't work for days. Challenging but impressive golf course.

My family and I have been to this resort many times over the years and we love it. We've just come back from our last visit and can't wait to go back! The staff are so friendly and service is great, from front reception, bell desk staff to all restaurant staff, you all made us feel welcome and special. Plenty of activities, swimming pools, beach, bikes, golf, archery, Mt Coolum climb, the list goes on! The rooms are nice and clean with comfortable beds and being close to the main pool and Village Square is fantastic particularly when you have children. We looked forward to breakfast each morning, it is amazing with plenty to choose from. Thank you for another great holiday, my family will definitely be back next year!

Room Tip: Double Double studios are lovely rooms.

Although this place was a little out of shape the short staff did everything they could to please, the little buggies that ferried everyone from there rooms to the conference venues or the restaurant were fantastic I would like to commend them, they worked 24 hrs an with the staff shortest we often saw the same driver. We only did breakfast there and the staff again were very helpful.

Our rooms were clean and tidy.

I was dubious about staying at the palmer coolum resort after reading a lot of negative reviews, and hearing of second hand bad experiences. The reality was 5 star all the way, excellent staff and facilities, the golf course in top condition, the only thing was the expensive breakfast($30 a head and then extra for a coffee)make sure to include breakfast in your package. I will be going back, and staying longer than just the one night we had this time

"I am thankful for everything and have no complaints whatsever."

Room airconditioner wasnt effective and was fixed at 10.30 at night, thankfully.

Buffet Breakfast at Ned Kellys restaurant had good variety of foods. cooked to order poached eggs are available.

Lovely place to enjoy the sounds and temperature of queensland!

Room Tip: Rooms near the Palm lounge were close to The Village, one of the many pools and The Pavilon.
