I've visited Postmasters twice in the last couple of months. Both times everything has been amazing from the telephone manners when making the booking all the way through to the farewell at the end. I could not fault them if I tried.
The venison carpaccio starter is just mind blowingly amazing. In fact on my second visit I shared it as an entree with a friend. We decided to have another entree size to share as a dessert because it is that good. The wild mushroom and truffle pappardelle is just perfect, it's so nice to have a pasta dish that isn't drenched in a creamy white wine sauce, this dish showcases the mushrooms and truffles without overbearing them.
Postmasters is well worth the visit. I am crossing my fingers, toes, eyes, arms and legs that they keep the amazing venison carpaccio on the menu when they change over to a summer menu.
I can't wait for lazy summers days enjoying a wine or two in their gorgeous garden snacking away on fantastic food.
