I would recommend seeing as much of Uluru as you can without going through the park entry station. You can get a lot of great pictures. If you do enter the national park dont buy anything from the cultural centre because you'll be blowing your money on cheap goods that break before you even get to use them. And then if like us you're lucking enough to be travelling back that way, so would like to get a refund, they charge you $50 at the ranger station just to go to the centre and get a refund. So either way you've blown your money. Its straight out profiteering if you ask me. And yes I tried to contact them personally about it and they dont give a damn because they've already got my money. We wont be back but even saying that doesnt get rid of the yucky feeling of having been completely ripped off!
