Due to the fact that is was mid week, and nearing the end of the peak season, we were fortunate enough to experience the night where the numbers were small, which meant we could interact more with fellow guests, and Marksie.
It was clear to see that Marksie genuinely enjoyed hie Bush Tucker Nights, and willfully engaged in banter, good humour and an inparting of bush tucker knowledge.
The food was delicious, cooked on a camp fire, in keeping with the theme.
We had buffalo, beef, lamb, crocodile and baramundi, cooked with aboriginal elders secret herbs/spices.
We also enjoyed a bush fruit punch, billy tea, damper and the most delicious mini scones with jam and cream.
The food was awesome, and what we learned of traditional Aboriginal ways and culture was enlightening.
There are wallabies hopping around, (with names) ...hello Bruce!
