“Stories showcase culture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Really informative and diverse displays give a sense of traditional Aboriginal culture in Kakadu. We spent at least 2 hours in the centre. The design of the building is great. The gift shop has an extensive range of books (including children's).

“Lovely little Centre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

Great little centre, unfortunately the shop only has one person working in it and when a bus load like we were goes there they are not able to serve us all and miss out on sales as a consequence. Cultural sections was informative and interesting.

“Worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

This was an enjoyable experience; the layout and the information boards were excellent.

There was so much information time passed so quickly it was amazing. We actually took a break to absorb what we were seeing and enjoyed a very good coffee and cake as well.

The set up inside is easy to follow and to hear the positive comments from visitors was an eye opener. So many comments overheard "oh that makes sense now" to various exhibits and info boards.

Well done to those behind the set up and I hope many more will stop and spend time learning the facts of Aboriginal culture.

Dear Barbara H

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, feedback is always appreciated - especially when it's a 5 star rating.

I am pleased that you enjoyed the experience, I have been through the Cultral Centre a number of times now but I always seem to find something new and fascinating.

I hope you enjoyed the remainder of your time in NT

Look forward to welcoming you back to Warradjan in the not too distant future...

Kind regards

“Absolutely fascinating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

This was an amazing experience. A walk through time with the original Australian people. There is a real feeling of reverence in this place, and i wish i could have spent more time there. There are loads of photos with references to read. I was spellbound.

Dear Anita R

Thank you for posting your 5 star review of Warradjan Cultural Centre, we do appreciate all feedback but to know that we have met the public's expectation is always a great feeling.

May I encourage to come back to Cooinda and spend some more time with us at Warradjan, especially when we have the local artists and weavers at the Centre.

I do hoe you enjoyed the remainder of your journey through Kakadu National Park

Regards

“The best of the Aboriginal cultural centres we visited”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2014

We found it quite puzzling in the NT how little information there was available about indigenous Australian culture. We visited the Uluru visitors centre, the Bowali visitors centre in Kakadu, and the Warradjan centre and found the Warrandjan centre by far the most informative (and really the only one worth visiting). It was fascinating to read the stories from the elders that were on display, and see how their people had been living in the area for so long. It's only a short drive from Jabiru, and definitely worth the visit.
