A shame Cafe Affair is not better as it is in a great location and always seems busy. We stopped for lunch on a lovely sunny day and had to wait over 10 minutes to place our order as the waitress was too busy attempting to erect a shade umbrella to take our order. I did suggest she take our order first, but nope.
Once we had ordered it didn't take long for the drinks and lunch to arrive but my two fried eggs were stone cold and completely rubberised. I think they must have been sitting off the grill for ages before being served - odd as the rest of my lunch was hot.
They cooked two fresh eggs which arrived hot and delicious but by then I had finished the rest of my lunch. My partner's fish and chips were good and greatly enjoyed.
We shan't be back.
