This was a Country Comfort Chelsea Park Motor Lodge when we stayed here. Our experience was simply outstanding. Our room seemed brand new inside, had a wonderful double spa in the bathroom, a second TV in the bedroom, comfy beds and pillows. I couldn't fault a single thing, and I'm picky! If this is a new management/ownership team, well done! You guys have a real gem here.

The motor lodge is a small typical motel with modern, clean rooms with different bed configurations. The rooms have all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay and reception were extremely friendly
and helpful. The centre of town is a 10 minute walk or short drive to
get to a selection of restaurants. There is a take away near-by

We stayed here for 2 nights in April 2007. The only blip was that we were allocated a double bed (me and my son, 10, were travelling) but they did offer to put a camp bed in the living room. We declined this and it all turned out ok. The reception were really helpful, maps, directions, recommended restuarants. Nothing was too much trouble. Even to the extent that the cars in the car park were scraped of morning dew before we departed for our days adventures!! A really good stay and from what I could see there were different types of accomodation available. Well worth a stay.

We arrived and received a warm welcome, maps, and answers to all our questions, i.e. restaurants, sights to see and shops of interest.
The room was perfect with comfortable bed, excellent kitchen facilities and large bathroom. Small rear patio was ideal for light meals and roses in the garden added to the ambiance.
Long or short stay you will feel at home.
