“Would recommend to anyone...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

I have just completed a 5 month travelling trip - my 'hiking adventure' in New Zealand was the highlight.

Firstly - the scenery was just incredible. The south island of NZ is stunning.

Secondly - what a sense of achievement that you see the landscape by hiking through it and not from the window of a bus - just so rewarding.

Thirdly - our guide Helen (or 'H' as we called her), who has such a genuine passion for the outdoors. Her knowledge of the New Zealand landscape/wildlife was fantastic. She was very approachable throughout the trip and her sense of fun was totally refreshing.

I learned alot, laughed alot and had an unforgetable time. Would recommend to anyone.

“Absolutely worth it!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012 via mobile

Helen is absolutely wonderful!! She makes you feel so comfortable and welcome.

She knows absolutely everything you could possibly imagine about Able Tasman and New Zealand... A walking encyclopedia.

Not only is she informative but she's also super passionate which makes a world of difference in ones experience. I never felt as if I was imposing when I would ask questions.

To boot she's environmentally conscience AND the food is ammmaaaazzzing!!! Some of the best food I've ever put in my mouth.

You won't go wrong! It's a must!!

“Trek in Abel Tasman Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

We were picked up from our hotel by our very able and knowledgable guide and driven to the entrance to the Park. There we boarded a water taxi where we travelled up the coast to our full day trek start. On the way our guide made a quick change of plan so that we saw blue penguins and fur seals as well as numerous lovely bays and beaches. We started our modest 7 km trek through native New Zealand forest. The trail was demanding but well maintained. Our guide was very understanding and kept a gentle pace for two seniors. Her knowledge of the fauna and birds was remarkable. The lunch provided was not only healthy and nutritious but exceptionally tasty. While we finished tired we would not have missed our experience with our guide for the world. We would have no hesitancy recommending this tour no matter your fitness level, your tour will be matched to your interests and capabilities.

“Wild Footprints for such a delightful and memorable experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

Great day (Bark Bay to Anchorage). Beautiful weather, inspiring scenery and a guide (Helen) who really knows her stuff about nature in New Zealand. We really enjoyed the trip; boat ride, exercise (badly needed), yummy lunch in beautiful, idyllic Torrent Bay. Highly recommend the trip with Helen from Wild Footprints for a great nature experience.

“The best therapy without laying on a couch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

My sister and I had a fabulous girls day out with Helen. Walked from Bark Bay to Anchorage. Starting with an exhilarating boat ride with Aquataxis and then a cup of tea at Bark Bay, the day continued to live up to its promise. We learned a lot about Abel Tasman National Park and the birds and plants that live there. It was an easy walk (with a wee bit of puffing on the hills). Lunch was yummy - especially the raspberry and chocolate slice. Don't forget to visit Cleopatra's Pool. The weather gods were also kind to us. Finished with another boat ride. Loved the fact we didn't have to think about anything. Helen very easy to get along with and we had some great laughs. (PS yes there were toilets at morning tea, lunch and at the end)
