There aren't too many choices near Auckland airport. We stayed one night like most people because we were leaving early the next day. We were very pleased with the venue. Our online rate was NZ$128 per night which included our complimentary shuttle to the airport the next morning.

The room was small but perfectly suited to our short stay. You can get bigger rooms for a higher charge. Service was great. They make sure you are awake at your desired time. Two phone calls to your room!

We ate dinner in the restaurant which is a little pricey but excellent food, service and ambience.

There is no where else to go unless you have a car. The venue is surrounded by an industrial area. If you need to spend a night near the airport, I think this is an excellent choice.

Stayed here on the way to/from South Island. On both occasions the room was very nice, clean and quiet. The concierge was very helpful with questions about how to get to downtown Auckland since we didn't have a renter car. Everyone on staff was friendly and the shuttle service was always right on time. They are currently renovating parts of the hotel but the areas that are done are very nice. We were traveling with a toddler and the only thing we would have changed was having a tub vs. a shower only in the room. I would stay here again.

This hotel is nice and the breakfast is nice. The location related to the airport is wonderful. The location related to the city is poor. The taxi ride is over 45.00 one way. But if it is in and out for one night the hotel is good.

We stayed here in April on our way to Fiji as we had a very early morning flight the next day. From start to finish we could not fault this hotel. We found the service excellent, the room of a very good (and clean) standard with a great bathroom (Deluxe room) and had no noise problems in the new wing. It was cheaper for us to stay here overnight and take advantage of the free parking and shuttle service than pay for covered long-term parking at the airport for the 2 weeks we were away. The wake up call was on time and the porter arrived without having to call. On arrival back from holiday we were collected within 15mins of our call. All very efficient.
The restaurant was good without being exceptional, the bar area nice and the pool and grounds very well looked after.
We will stay again.
