Second time here.Went to Coldplay 2012 by myself and stayed here in a similar room, but second time transitting through to Adelaide with my wife. Front desk busy but efficient.Rooms are on the small size(student type) but were clean both bathroom & bed linen. We occupied a room near the lift (2nd floor). This caused us problems with sleeping and the lack of soundproofing between rooms & floors. You can appreciate with international arrivals & departures the lift doors and hall doors, toilets & showers operating at all hours.Suggest a request for a room at either end of the hallways. If not earplugs or a few drinks. Supermarket adjacent for all forgotten items.wife & myself shared a bottle of wine in our room but no glasses etc in room.Purchased plastic cups at supermarket.Pub attached to hotel good for typical pub food.Has good coverage of live sport on Sky.Two separate screens at once. Good place to say hello or goodbye without having to pay for parking or over the top prices at airport bars. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to both terminals weather permitting

I found it clean, but was surprised that , nothing to drink out of, no way to phone the desk I found this frighting as during the night there was a lot of screening in the hall
The guy at the desk around 6.15 am could only point when asked a question.
I have been in the service industry for 40 years and it is a shame when the staff will not speak when asked a couple of questions, such as where do I stand to catch the Shuttle

My room was a queen size bed with bunk. I do not need a bunk to make more spacious because I stayed alone.
I want hot water service in the breakfast area.
It would be better free wifi service if we bring our own computer.
It would be better that you barrow us drier when request.

The Good-

Clean, Convenient to airport,Easy parking, pub next door

The Bad-
If you stay here just be aware there is really nothing other than a single bed and a TV. Not even a cup or glass, no hairdryer, no facecloths, no tea or coffee making in your room,no fridge.
You can get a cuppa at reception for $3, but it was terrible!

Room Tip: I don't know what oither rooms were like but this was the smallest room i have ever stayed in.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay if flying out of Auckland the next morning.

There are some shops, restaurants and a supermarket within 50 metres.

Free shuttle bus to the airport terminal. Free WIFI not included.

Would definitely stay here again.

Have tried a few hotels near Auckland Airport but wanted something inexpensive and convenient for an 8 hour overnight stay ... and I do prefer newer buildings. The Ibis was perfect for this.

I walked from the International Terminal to the hotel in the evening - good exercise after a day of flying. The bedroom was small, cosy and clean; the bed was comfortable and the reading light excellent. The bathroom was very small but the shower rose and water flow were very good ... better then most 5 star hotels.

Free courtesy bus to the airport terminals was on time in the morning.

I would stay there again if budget is the main factor.
