We stayed 1 night in a ground floor room before leaving NZ early the next day. Located 5 minutes drive from the airport but quiet (never heard any aircraft). Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great shower. Quite expensive at 179 NZD for 1 night. Although it had all mod cons there was only broadband - no wi-fi! Incredible! What would a router cost atleast in reception alone?

We stayed here for 3 days during a visit to Auckland. The apartments are very close to the airport and adjoining the main freeway which is ideal if you need to be on the south side of Auckland.
The 2 bedroom unit we had was clean and modern, but due to a strange quirk in the design the occupants in the 2nd bedroom have to go through the 1st bedroom to reach the bathroom, which can be a nuisance. Although the internet was included, there wasn't much data included and if you watched a movie or two online you could be in for a nasty surprise when you leave.
Other than that a reasonable place to stay... 3 stars.

Room Tip: If you have 2 bedrooms make sure that theres bathrooms or shared access.

This hotel/apartment was quite a nice surprise. We needed to stay someplace close to the airport and it was charming and spacious. You get so much for what your dollar. There is a full spread of food items for breakfast and even milk in the fridge. There was a bed in the very large main room, a bed in another bedroom and also a master bedroom with the bathroom attached. Having the washer and dryer (and soap supplied) meant we went home with suitcases full of clean clothes which was awesome. Peter, the owner/caretaker was so helpful and kind and he even drove us to the airport for our flight and let us stay later than check-out because we had no vehicle and no place to go until our 3 pm flight. I would highly recommend this hotel/apartments. Very, very clean and quiet. A short walk to the north of the hotel there was a vegetable market where we picked up yummy strawberries and some eggs and other assorted veggies for snacks.

Too often you stay at a hotel near the airport and they are just run down over priced places gambling on clients just staying one or two days and its too hard to move. Not here the place was modern, very clear, had all amenities needed and pleasant staff. Fantastic for the business traveller

Our first indication that this was somewhere we would definitely use again was when I rang to inquire about a reservation. We were offered a room at a very reasonable price when every other hotel I had rung close to the airport was charging outrageous prices due to the rugby world cup semi final All Blacks/Australia game. Also it was an apartment so we didn't have to book 2 rooms for our family of 4. Free care of our vehicle while overseas was also offered. After dropping off our vehicle we were then taken to the Airport free of charge. On arriving back the apartment was a welcomed respite when we had jetlag - clean, modern, easy to find, welcoming and friendly. All the little extra details like the beautiful complimentary breakfast, the washing machine and drier (with washing powder), the real coffee, the abundance of fresh bath towels, the large comfy bed, the fab tv to watch the rugby, fresh flowers on the table, the bathroom products, fruit juice in the fridge, tasteful artwork on the walls, and it was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.

Note reception hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM but, phone is not answered, nor reception desk open even during reception hours. At door is a cell phone number to call. Nobody was answering the faciliyt phone listed on booking documents when I called from the airport.

Also airport pickup is by prior arrangement during reception hours only. Notice pickup... The room has a list of taxi's to call.

Internet access must be requested when you check in so a custom logon-id and password can be created. Good luck finding someone to give you one after check-in.

This is a one person operation with just a handful of rooms.

The room is spotless.

I stayed twice but was charged 3 times.

All in all, a strange, and frustrating experience.

Room Tip: Probably be OK if you are renting a car from the airport -- not for passing through
