I guess this is one of the most average parks we stayed in. Friendly check in, clean ablutions, some good - some less good sites. Waterfront is ok but not pretty with lookout to freight trains on the other side of the water. Nice closed campkitchen. Semi lovely gardening. Clean pool. Park could use some colours and decoration, so now It's just ok for a night.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

Stayed 3 nights in 3 different cabins. All good value for money and well maintained. The Park itself is well located in a quite area on the waterfront. 5 minute drive to the main shopping area but walking distance to a club for dinner.
The pick of the cabins would be the Superior Cabins with water views. But the others functionally are fine, just dont have the views.
All very clean and tidy and bedding fine.
It can be booked out so I would make a booking before arriving.

No real complaint, but no great enthusiasm either. A big facility, toilets OK but not great (soap dispenser not working, showers spray water into 'dry' area). No problem with noise. Not close to any particularly inspiring attractions.

We had a powered site here. The amenities were spotless and the laundry facilities great. Took the kids for a walk along the beach, which is right next door. A nice place to pull up for the night.

A bit run down and dusty but the staff were friendly and amenities clean. It is located off the main highway so the noise from traffic isn't too bad. The managers allowed us to have our dog stay in the camping area which was great!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2012

On our way to the Red Centre (April 2012) we booked a "waterfront ensuite unit". The unit had a queen bed, two bunks, full kitchen, air con, great bathroom and a great view (albeit through barbed wire) to the water and ranges. We considered staying in a superior cabin and were glad we stayed with our original decision. The overall park is well maintained, is nice and quiet and the amenities were clean.
