We dined here last night 17/12. Table 42. Ordered 2 Grilled Rump at $32 each. One with vegies and potato and the other just salad. Ordered it Medium.
Came to the table, looked like slops! The meat was very Well Done, the scallop potatoes was running, no shape and was as if had been cooked for days! The vegies were just as bad. Worse than hospital food. Overcooked and tasteless. We sent the steaks back which we dont usually do, but considering paying $32 each, it was unacceptable.
The kids had a bowl of spaghetti, $7.50. we were charged $13 due to computer error apparently. The spaghetti tasted fine and we had no issues with it. After about another 20-30 minutes I mentioned to my husband our steaks will be overcooked again as it was taking way to long... anyway, our new steaks came out and yet again they were Well Done.
By this stage the kids were ready to go and we were to frustrated to have to wait again. The Grilled rump meal is worth no more than $10. It would be equivelent to Seniors Bowls Club meal or hospital not a fine dining as the price demands.
For that price I expect my scallop potato to have some form, be cut into a nice square, and my vegies to be crisp and seasoned. Also my steak to be cooked as requested.
Ordered a bottle of Wolf Blass Chardonay, $12 on the menu and charged $13.60.
Do not waste your money as we did. For $100 for our meals and drinks, we went home and ate toast instead.
