“Amazing value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

Really clean, modern and well-equipped rooms. Comfy bed. Good shower and lots of nice soaps and creams supplied. Laundry facility efficient and handy. Free wifi which worked without any hassles. Friendly staff. Highly recommend to all. Great value for money.

Very clean and spacious enough with all facilities you need. Location is good for Greymouth (backpacking hotels are all pretty central but other accommodation is a little way out - perhaps too far to walk). A taxi is around $8 and very efficient service. Plenty of eateries for a smallish place and one which is highly rated just across the road (100 meters) so no need of a taxi.
Russell, the manager, is a natural and nothing is too much trouble. Odd little things like DVD's available for free, good wifi system, storage of your luggage if you are arriving/departing by rail and a really good head for customer satisfaction.
You really could do much worse that the Coleraine in Greymouth.

This motel has all mod cons and a good manager who gave us useful tips. The bed was huge and the kitchen well equipped. The restaurant just across the road serves a nice meal. The motel is not close to town but within easy reach of the main roads.

Whilst on holiday for four weeks in n.zealand, my wife 2 daughters and I stayed at the coleraine motel, our friends booked it as we come from coleraine, n.ireland. .We all loved the motel, It had all the amenities you could want including spa bath and very reasonably priced too. Paul.

Room Tip: Ask for upstairs family room with spa its like a penthouse suite.

Did stay here for one night, on the way to Picton. Friendly owner. Room was very clean and very good size, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed. In the bathroom you get nice selection of shower gels, body creams etc. I do recommend this place.

Very helpful and friendly host. Modern upmarket motel with pretty much everything a guest may need. Very spacious rooms, fabulous comfortable bed, impeccable cleanliness, great location and lovely quiet units. We have stayed in a lot of motels and this one would have to be one of the best. Great new owner!

We stayed in Greymouth for one night along with friends with us who were traveling from Brazil. We stayed in unit 9 and the other family stayed in unit 8. The units had great cooking facilities, were very clean and modern and overall were very reasonably priced. We have travelled around a number of cities in New Zealand and could not fault this hotel and can not understand the bad reviews. The owners were very customer focused and helpful. If we stop over in Greymouth we will stay here again. We were simply impressed with the full sized kitchen in unit 8.
