“Exceptional service and cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

The atmosphere at Revas, with its marina view and ambience, is divine! The friendly service was a blessing compared to soo many nowadays. Our favourite dishes are the mussel ones but there fish special which is always changing, is always top notch. The menu is diverse enough to cover most tastes. Although a reasonably limited wine selection, they are nice wines so you wont go wrong. The only failing is you do need to be in early as the kitchen closes at 8:30pm so dont miss out!

“Greasy and Cold”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

This Café is very tired and outdated. The décor is tired (and probably hasn't been changed or dusted in decades) and the staff are tired. A board of faded, dusty old photos should be consigned to the rubbish. The food was terrible and the attitude of the staff quite appalling.

“Beautiful Spot”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

Brilliantly located on the town basin gave Reva's a great afternoon feel. The food was good but not great (was only on the express menu for a mid-afternoon meal). Additionally, because it was a public holiday the 15% surcharge made it a significantly worse option. Would like to go back again another time for dinner without the surcharge to see if it is any better.

“Nothing Extraordinary. Old and Tired”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Have eaten here several times before and not been overly impressed so I really don't know why we bothered again. I think because it was handy to the part of town we were in.
It is such a ho-hum place to eat. The décor is way past it's best, plastic chairs on the deck faded tablecloths. Tired first impression for our tourists.
My husband likes his steak blue, the waiter got it correct on the order, the cook didn't. What really annoys me with these places is that no one gives a damn wether you enjoy your meal or not. It gets placed in front of you and that's the last you see of them.
And to finish the Chocolate Macadamia Tart was burnt.

“Total disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Best setting in town, Over the water, looking at harbour and boats. BUT dont go there! Food is poor quality, poorly cooked. Service is very hit and miss, generally disinterested. The menu has barely changed in the whole time it has been open in this situation. The ONLY reason it has survived is location, visitors continue to pay ridiculous prices for awful food because of the setting. Not many would go there twice.
Shame, if it was bought out by a good restauranteur, they would make a killing.
Even getting rid of the plastic bbq chairs and dirty faded tableclothes would help!
