“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

Very comfortable rooms with a large bathroom including spabath. If I was to look for a fault it would be that the shower nozzle is set a little low if you are over 6 ft. This is an issue with many hotel rooms and would not prevent me from coming back as everything else offered by the lodge was great. Rooms come with a small kitchen including a cook-top all in good condition. Id highly recommend staying here.
Restaurants can be found 10 minutes walk into town.

You don't get the number 1 rating by sitting around on your bum
Lyn and her staff certainly don't - they can't be more helpful or present the suites any better
We were made as welcome as long lost relatives
Thanks for an enjoyable stay

Stayed here for work on the way back from Kerikeri. Fantastic. Really friendly and conveniently located. Lovely decoration and grounds, and more than a little bit luxurious. Bedding was super comfy, lovely big spa bath, fast internet (included for free). Ask for a corporate rate - totally reasonable. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night - basically en route from Coromandel to Russell. We were only looking for a comfortable night sleep, but ended up being very impressed with the hotel and wish we could have stayed in this hotel in some of the other locales we visited! It is clean, modern and well equipped. It's location is right on the main road through town, but not as well located if you are staying a few days (e.g. limited restaurants you can walk to, driving distance to the centre of town). We thought it was a great hotel though and would return.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Paihia. This is a wonderful place to stay. The host was very helpful with places to eat and where to go for a scenic trip when we left.
The rooms are absolutely spotless and cannot be faulted.

The motel is amongst a number of others on SH3 and you could easily miss it.

I had 2 different rooms during my stay and both were excellent. The first was a 2 bedroom apartment and the second a one bedroom. Both were tastefully furnished and clearly meant for adults and the discerning traveller. The rooms were very clean and contained excellent facilities.

Do not drive past...

Room Tip: I can recommend rooms 1 & 8
