“Love the place ... but studio bed was hard as a rock!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

We have stayed many many times and love the place ! Love soaking in the pool in the evening. In the past we have stayed in one of the apartments, one other time a chalet, in our camper using an unpowered site and this time decided to try a studio . We hardly got any sleep as the bed in the studio was extremely hard. My husband likes a hard bed but said it would be the hardest bed he has ever slept on. Studio is both clean and well set out. We will stay again but never again in one of the studios. .

We only stayed here for one night on a powered site. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, even providing a needle and cotton for sewing a button on my husbands trousers! The grounds are well maintained and spacious. The pool looked wonderful but we weren't there long enough to try it. The laundry was the cheapest so far on our trip, $2 to wash-30mins, $2 to dry-45mins. The kitchen and eating areas were so clean you could think that you were at home. All in all, an excellent park.

Easily the cleanest park we stayed in during our 2 week travels in New Zealand's North Island.

The Hot Springs Pool in the park was wonderful for relaxing in and I was very appreciative that the parents with little ones followed the time restrictions for children.

Very clean bathrooms and kitchen. Yards and gardens were all kept up very well.

One downfall is that it is a bit of a trek to a grocery store, so make sure you stock up one food and drinks prior as they are a bit pricey to purchase form the holiday park.

So clean, the cleanest holiday park I've stayed. Both ablution and kitchen.
Kitchen has full facility, freeze, fridge, utensils; cutlery.. All the facility working good.
Staffs were friendly too.
I also enjoyed the hot pool.

Spent 3 nights here with our caravan on a powered site. When we rang to book and the staff member told us she would put us in a nice quite site away from the playground which was exactly what we got. This holiday park is excellent with a large wonderful hot natural pool to relax in. The staff were very friendly and the place is well kept and spotlessly clean with free showers. Highly recommended and we would stay here again without hesitation.

Our favourite destination for a relaxing get away - Miranda has it all. Excellent facilities, friendly helpful staff and lots of fun, tennis, table tennis, spa pool and the added bonus of Karma Waters Massage on site. Everything is kept clean and park is close to several other attractions and walks. We are regulars and love the fact that we can leave our caravan in the secure storage area making it quick and easy for the next trip.

Will be back again soon.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

We visited again in June. Had not been to Miranda for about 18 months and it was great to get back to one of the best campgrounds in the Country. Soaking in the thermal pool while the rest of the world is shivering is great. The facilities at the camp are first class and the service at reception is outstanding. Tried the massage at Karma Waters and the tired old back has never felt better. It was such an enjoyable weekend we are going back in July.
