We stopped off at the rugby museum as my boyfriend is an avid rugby fan and there would have been tantrums had we not. Not really understanding the game myself I reluctantly agreed to come along with him and had a surprisingly good time. The staff were incredibly friendly and added their own touch to the interesting exhibits. There were some places where it did get a little repetitive but it wasn't a massive place and we made our way though it all relatively quickly (even though we both like to read every scrap of information on display!). Best of all though was the interactive playpen in the middle that gave coaching in the basics of rugby from the sprint to the tackle. Needless to say my boyfriend enjoyed it immensely but even for those who aren't so enthralled by the game it is still worth a visit. Although free parking isn't available on site there is plenty within a two minute walking distance.
