“Impecabble”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

Our chalet was extremely clean and entire stay was to a very high standard.
Animal visitors were enchanting and super friendly. Massage was one of the best I have ever had, so relaxing and in a beautiful environment. There is
nothing better than relaxing under the stars in the spa with a glass of wine in hand watching the antics of the wildlife after a busy day visiting local wineries and cheese factories. Great location, close to all the local attractions, make sure you check out the cows in Coweramup! The bread in the welcome package was the best I have ever eaten, thank you! We will be back again and again now we have found this oasis of calm and tranquillity. Big thank you to our hosts, a wonderful weekend. Eric, Heather & Linda :)

It is appreciated you noticed we try & keep our chalets clean for our guests. Plus you enjoyed the freshly baked bread we included in your stay at Yelverton Brook.
Thanks for the local info, yes we love the cow herd in Cowaramup too!
We look forward to seeing you here again at Yelverton Brook.

Absolutely impossible to fault this beautiful property. Comfortable, roomy, spotlessly clean, spa under the stars and the friendliest native animals in the world (was pretty sure that Piggy the kangaroo was angling for a comfy spot on the couch. Great place for families, couples, anyone really. Very centrally located so all major tourist spots are all within a 15-30min drive. One last thing...was very impressed to receive a call from Joy to let me know that Id left something behind and she'd pop it in the post for me.....above and beyond:) Anyone that could find anything to complain about with regards to this lovely place must be impossible to please.

Room Tip: We were in Jarrah, which seemed to be a bit further from the other chalets, so if you fancy a nudy s...

Thanks for your kind review, we do try & keep the chalets clean for our guests but maintaining a very minimal chemical usage to keep our eco friendly status using fibre technology cleaning systems.
Yes "Piggy" is very friendly & bombproof female kangaroo, though getting a bit older these days but still producing a joey each year....

We love it here - a relaxing, unassuming, private experience. The surrounds are beautiful, the wildlife is such a special treat and the spa is just blissful.

On our second stay we actually left out coffee machine in the kitchenette accidentally (maybe a little bit too much of that gorgeous local wine!) Joy and Simon went above and beyond in trying to arrange someone to drop the machine off to us. When this wasn't an option they posted it to us straight away. Really appreciate this level of service.

Looking forward to our next stay (soon I hope!) where we will once again enjoy a bottle of red wine and a scrummy cheese platter as the sun goes down and the animals begin to arrive for a feed.

Thanks for sharing your place with us, Joy and Simon :)

Just got back from three of the most relaxing days at Yelverton Brook. Quiet, peaceful and the most amazing up-close wildlife experiences. Kangaroos - a couple with joeys in the pouch that you were able to hand feed. Woylies, which we hadnt seen before, would have come inside if the door had been left open. The brush tailed possum with young one hanging on as mum scaled the verandah pole was incredible. Going in springtime was a bonus too in terms of wildflowers and birds too. We are already planning a trip back next Spring (good time of the year for super specials at the local wineries) and will again spend our kick-back time sharing dinner with the wildlife. Location is central to all of Margaret Rivers major wineries and the like but so much quieter and more relaxing than the more traditional accommodation. Chalet was spotless and fully self-containted. One word of warning - take plenty of carrots and apples as the roos etc will eat you out of house and home. Loved it 1000% - Alan and Dot Parker

Room Tip: Banksia is ideal for couples wanting that extra bit of peace and quiet as it is the most isolated ch...

Thanks folks for the review, we are happy your really enjoyed meeting your wonderful wildlife. Thay can be very entertaining daytime & nightime. As we say feathers by day & fur by night!
But the kangaroos turn up day or night....as you mentioned they love carrots, apples & bananas!

Thankyou for your review, we are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Just to let others know we do supply a small step ladder/stool to access the outdoor spa. We also have spa lifters on each one which helps sheild you from the nearby chalet approx 50-70mts apart from each other.
We have put up extra screening at several chalets for your privacy but still trying to acheive that nice natural bushland scenery. We will take your comment on board.

A very relaxed and private time. Idea for people that want to get away from it all. We stayed 3 nights and this allowed my partner to experience firsthand the kangaroo’s and other wildlife. A great experience for her instead of a zoo. Place was wonderful. Spa was great. Would stay again no problem

Room Tip: Bring some bananas for the wild life. The animals will love you

We are so glad you enjoyed meeting our Woylies at Yelverton Brook & enjoyed the Jacuzzi (outdoor hot tub spa). Thankyou for your review, as we offen say to our guests, potential guests believe what you say, not what we say about the property.
