We called in for a late lunch and were spoilt for choice. We chose a Chicken and salad sandwich and a Pannini. When they came they were massive and very good. We could have chosen pies, flans, salads or other sorts of sandwiches. All made in the bakery, the cakes and pastries looked super but we had no room left for them.
The cafe area has a selection of comfy chairs and settees or tables with assorted dining chairs. It is all very "quirky" and nothing matches. The china cups and saucers and teapots are all different all of which really adds to the atmosphere of the place.
They are open from 7am until 4pm. They have a good choice for breakfast, lunch and they offer Devonshire Teas with scones and cream etc (they use real tealeaves). I really don't think that you could improve on the food and the friendly staff. We wished that we were staying in the area longer so that we could eat there again.
