This is a small scale winery with really good food, very friendly service- a bit of a blast from the past. The lovely lady serving in the cellar door and working in the restaurant was all a flutter as they were 'rushed off their feet' (there were 3 tables in the restaurant and 4 people at the cellar door!).
The wine is fine but the food is really good- the seafood platter was very generous and the salt and pepper squid on it was really a cut above. Terrific salad on the platter as well as lots of different seafood to try. The only let down was the chips (you can always taste a frozen product).
I would thoroughly recommend this as a relaxed venue for a leisurely MR lunch.
