We stayed in one of the 1 bedroom cabins with ensuite over the June long weekend. We were looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable accommodation close to Margaret River and this fit the bill. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the close proximity to the river and the short 10 minute walk into town. The park is close to the river and across the little bridge, there are some good bushwalking trails. The park bbqs are very clean, but there appeared to be only two of them. We had no problems using them when we wanted as it was the quiet season, but could be an issue during summer statys. The cabin had good heating and a tv, and while the bed was rather firm for my liking, the stay was quite comfortable, and while it is not luxurious, it was a great base to explore the region from and we were not in the cabin that much anyway. The positives are the affordable price, close proximity to town, and quiet location. We would stay here again as a budget option.
