Totally blown away with The Homestead. Don't want to give away all the little touches and surprises! Outstanding level of cleanliness and well appointed beautiful lodge. You will feel like the only people in the world, whilst the staff are just down the track should you need them. We popped into the office to express our thanks to them as they clearly work hard to provide a wonderful experience for all their guests. Just can't wait to return!

Stunning vista, loved the window roof above the spa and the outdoor hot/ cold shower.

Well laid out, comfy bed, kitchen well equipped.

It's not obvious what's eco but when I suggested some ideas in a review the managers contacted me to say they do have significant solar, rain water and grey water on site but that it's not practical to retro fit the cabins.

I hope they'll put this info on their web site and in the cabin books.

Last time we stayed here it was in one of the beautiful chalets but this time we had the Executive Homestead and it did not disappoint. We could have moved in permanently. The most relaxing and peaceful place. it is a huge house with an amazing spa in the master ensuite overlooking the refreshing pool and outdoor hot Jacuzzi. There is also an outdoor shower which is fantastic. A huge living and kitchen area and great outdoor space with BBQ overlooking the property. Loads of wildlife come to visit, we loved watching the kangaroos with their joey's and the cheeky fox trying to catch the grasshoppers in the morning. We will definitely be going back but for much longer this time as a weekend just wasn't enough time in this wonderful part of WA.

Room Tip: All chalets and the homestead are quiet and away from everyone.

There are some places you go, where the capability to relax creeps up on you. After a few days the worries of the world disappear. Forest Rise Eco Retreat is not like that. Its a place where relaxation seeks you out from the time you wend your way up the drive through the forest to your secluded chalet.

Its a place where the staff are unseen but helpful. A place where nature comes to your door and a short walk reveals the fauna that could not make it to the welcoming party. Five days felt like a glorious ten days or more. The fact that these delightfully private well appointed chalets are in the middle of a forest in the middle of Margaret River region means that the opportunities to relax are yours to choose from. Legendary wineries? No problem. Great food? No problem. Beautiful beaches? No problem. Flora and fauna - 15,000 plus species do? Cheese, venison, ceramics, art, history ....the list goes on.

If you want a fully engaged but deliciously relaxing holiday at any time of the year then make your booking now.

My husband & I were celebrating our wedding anniversary there. It was the perfect place to go to. Very romantic. The cottages are very secluded and have every thing you need. We had a huge spa bath. There was a bottle of bubbly and chocolates waiting for us on arrival. You are also right in the middle of beautiful wine country with lots of fabulous places to eat at and visit. Would definitely go back

These cottages are simply superb. Excellent accommodation - large spa, BBQ, kitchen, bicycles, fire place, huge bed, and very, very private. Beautiful location and so close to everything Margaret River has to offer. This is the best part of Australia I have ever visited and the Eco Retreat certainly added to the experience we had.

Room Tip: Any cottage/villa will be great - they are all so private.

Cottage was very well equipped. Wood burner and generous amount of wood a very welcome touch for chilly spring evenings. Out door shower, bikes and gas BBQ also very useful. Exceptionally peaceful location - we rarely saw and never heard other guests. Site is large and lots of wild life including Roos, possums, lizards and lots of different birds. A couple of good walking routes laid out which were fun to do. Wifi only available at office - which we saw as a plus but may be a negative for some. Convenient location for Margaret river and lots of cellar doors close by. Would definitely stay again.
