The cottage itself was really nice. Modern, comfortable and spacious. It seemed like it was recently renovated so everything was beautiful. Being a farm there were some ants that came towards the food overnight but nothing major - simple remember to throw all remnants of rubbish carefully! There were a total of 6 adults and 3 kids - two of them toddlers. The dampener was the weather - we were expecting a summer but there was an odd cold front while we were in Perth and the cottage just wasn't made with sufficient insulation to help my mum-in-law with the cold. Also because of the cold rainy weather we only got to experience the proper farmstay experience on the morning of our departure. That short exposure was enough to make me convinced that I would come again. The animals were free to roam and the kids had fun feeding them. The farmstay was truly hidden - drive slowly if you are arriving after sunset - but is also within reach of a variety of places to explore - a chocolate factory, Amaze, vineyards, a town centre, the caves, etc. I'd advice that you stock up at the town centre so you can spend the evenings in over a bbq.
